No one has yet mentioned "The Compleat Academic," edited by Mark Zanna and John
Darley. My copy is from Erlbaum, 1987, but I'm not sure that is the current
publisher. Lots of territory explored at least a little bit, from teaching to
research to grants to student-faculty relationships to campus politics. Worth
reading.
