Dear Tipsters, a colleague of mine is planning a memory experiment where verbal reaction time will be the mayor dependent variable. Subjects will learn lists of words and during test will be presented with cues. The time between cue presentation and beginning of the utterance should be measured. The whole experiment will be running on an IBM compatible PC under DOS; normally we use home-made experimental software written in C, no commercial packages. So ideally we would need a voice key which could be integrated in our software (that is: which would come with C-libraries or at least a documented interface). My (or rather his) question is: Do any of you have experience with voice keys? Could you recommend a special brand/maker? Since software development is a hassle: Are there any commercial solutions available within experimental suites which you could recommend? Thanks in advance, Rainer Scheuchenpflug
