Just a little more on the Canadian educational system, from another
province (Nova Scotia). We have 13 years of primary and secondary
schooling and there are both 3- and 4-year undergraduate degree
programs. The former are usually designated 'general' degrees
while 4-year degrees are 'majors' and 'honors' degrees.
