Is anyone out there at all? -
It was explained to me in my graduate school physio psych class that the
retina is actually part of the brain. This made an impression on me and I've
always treasured it as one of my favorite gee whiz facts about the human
nervous system.
My question to you all, if anyone is listening, is would the optic nerve be
classified as PNS or CNS? Maybe it doesn't matter but this relates to a
question on a test I've given and might mean an extra point or two for some
of my students.
