We can agree to disagree. I don't think its the same thing at all. We typically try to 
comfort a child after a vaccination. It's not a punishment for an infraction.And there 
is certainly more conclusive evidence that it prevents what it is intended to prevent. 
Unlike spanking.

Still completely unconvinced.
