I would be interested in hearing from folks who have established a
procedure for maintaining the security of psychological tests in
their department. Many classes (and researchers) use these tests.
For instance, we have a range of tests that require equipment (and
are thus not easily stored in a file cabinet).

Does anyone keep a central "psychological testing file" from which
items are checked out? If so, how is it managed? How are
distinctions made between tests the department owns and those owned
by individuals? What about widely available tests (e.g. the Beck
Depression Inventory)? What tracking and access rules do you use?
Are there any restrictions on test use in the classroom? In research?

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: Just so no one is confused, I *DO NOT* mean tests on class
content, or exams. I mean psychological testing instruments like
intelligence tests, personality profiles, diagnostic instruments, etc.
