Which is the preferred terminology state dependent learning or state dependent memory? It would appear that this state dependent idea is more of a memory retrieval process, but I can see where it could be involved in the acquisition process. Can a definitive distinction be made? On one hand it appears as a memory strategy,on the other hand it could be a learning style acquisition process.
