Could you explain your point further. Prohibiting (or strongly discouraging)
sexual or amorous relations between faculty and students is important for many
reasons (legally, ethically, morally). It is especially true at small schools
where it is very difficult to remove oneself from conflicts of interest (just
too much contact across the board between faculty and students). How is this
different if the relationship is between same sex as opposed to opposite sex
couples?
