This is not a fictitious incident. You may call the Daytona Beach
News Journal in Daytona Beach,Florida and ask them about the teachers
who were suspended for run-ins with students.The article was published
in the newspaper in the last week of February.
There were apparently other incidents,but the student's accusatiion
was stated and the teacher's bifocals was mentioned by the teacher.
Please try to verify before accusing me of making up stories.
