To Mike, because it's not "important?" That is, it's not going to be on a test. Students have been trained to think that way. Did we as students?
To Bob, I asked my students that question once. Here's some of their answers: "She doesn't know mine, why should I know hers;" "He never looks at us, only at the blackboard" "Is that important?" "He doesn't interact with us." "Never thought about it." "She so cold and distant." Etc Etc Etc Totally unscientific.
