Critical Thinking Exercise for Assessing the Validity of the News Media: The New York Observer is a newspaper in NYC that aims towards a higher level of demographic than, say, the NY Daily News or Post (but not exactly hipster fare though there are pretensions) and occasionally it has the really interesting news article or analysis.
