This may interest some TIPSters. A new blog has been started presenting
vignettes on some of Freud's patients and their treatment. It is by
Mikkel Borch-Jacobsen, co-author of *The Freud Files: An Inquiry into
the History of Psychoanalysis*.

The first sample includes Ernst Fleischl von Marxow ("How Freud got his
friend Ernst Fleischl von Marxow addicted to cocaine and lied about
it"), and Bertha Pappenheim ("Anna O."), who, though a patient of
Breuer's not Freud, was used by Freud to promote the claims of
psychoanalysis, notably in his "Five Lectures on Psychoanalysis"
delivered at Clark University in 1910.
