Dave *ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN PSYCHOLOGY (998583)*. The Department of Psychological Science at the University of Central Missouri (www.ucmo.edu /psychology) seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in Psychology. The doctoral degree must be completed by time of appointment. Position begins August, 2014. Successful candidates will provide evidence of excellence in teaching, the ability and interest to involve undergraduate and master’s level graduate students in their research as well as to foster student career/professional development. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA approved program and have completed an APA approved internship. Applicant must be able to teach General Psychology, Personality (undergraduate and graduate), and Abnormal Psychology. In addition to the courses specific to this position, the ability to teach additional courses as needed by the department, as well as training and experience in program evaluation and assessment is preferred. While not required, favorable consideration will be given to applicants who expect to obtain licensure within three years of appointment or have Missouri licensure at the time of appointment. Salary is competitive. Standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester; opportunities to teach during the summer are available.
