They clearly accept advertising. The list of “Featured Schools in [Your State]
and Online” is clearly code for institutions that have paid to have a separate
listing on the page and to have buttons to click through to their websites.

Another one I have been contacted about is:
www.counselingpsychology.org<http://www.counselingpsychology.org/>. I can’t
find the advertising support for this one (it makes me nervous when the funding
support for a site that markets through email isn’t obvious on the site
itself). It could just be a lot of professionals who have come together to
provide free information to students interested in counseling as a profession
but those kinds of sites usually come through professional organizations. Does
anyone know about this one?

I too thought it looked useful, and I also noticed the preponderance of
for-profit schools.

I just briefly browsed through this site and it looked as if it might be useful
for students. However, one thing that bothered me was that when I searched for
psychology graduate programs in NJ where I live, it also listed a bunch of
for-profit schools, http://www.psychologydegree411.com/schools/new-jersey/, and
that is something that I am sure my department would not want to promote.

Do any of you include this link on your department's website? I keep getting
"invitations" to do so, but I'm not sure how legit this site is.
