Wondering on how to make your cognitive neuroscience more
attractive to comic book nerds? Well, Marvel Comics has that
question answered and published it on the Scientific American
website; see:
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/superhero-science-marvel-comics-gets-inside-the-heads-of-the-avengers/

No word on whether the Walking Dead folks will do the same for
the cognitive neuroscience of zombies. To be fair, the episode
"TS-19" which concluded the first season does have the scene
with the neuroimaging of a person undergoing the transformation
into a zombie (though this was hack cognitive neuroscience).
For those who don't watch the show, here is a Wikipedia entry
on the episode:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TS-19
Note: the deleted scene involving characters from the "Vatos"
episode -- that would have made the episode even more dark.
But the CDC blowed-up real good!
