Just finished reading “Make It Stick - the Science of Successful Learning” (http://www.amazon.com/Make-Stick-Science-Successful-Learning/dp/0674729013/ref=sr_1_1? <http://www.amazon.com/Make-Stick-Science-Successful-Learning/dp/0674729013/ref=sr_1_1?>). As usual I decided to put the key ideas of the book into a concept map and come up with my own acronym: REDI (SQ3R is so "last century” - might as well make up a new acronym just for the heck of it). REDI stands for Retrieval practice, Elaboration, Distributed practice and Interleaving.
