There may be details of which I am not aware, but “right to work” is about 
mandatory union dues, and academic freedom/tenure is a separate issue. Now, it 
wouldn’t surprise me if the same crowd who undermined unions also wants to 
target on academic freedom and tenure, but I don’t think the two are tied 
together from a legal perspective.

Perhaps. My impression of Harlow was that he liked to say whatever would most 
rile up the person in front of him.
