I often have my statistics students search for articles that use certain
inferential tests and one thing I have found that helps (I don't know how your
database works), is to sort hits by date instead of by relevance. If you sort
hits by relevance, most of what you find at the top of the list are articles
about the procedure and how to use it. If you want articles that use the
procedure, you will do better to sort hits by date because the most recent
articles are likely to stress uses over "how to" reports.

Subject: [tips] Reporting CI for correlations

For a research methods class, I'm in search of some examples where results
report a Pearson's r with a confidence interval (with or without a
p-value/NHST). Finding such examples has been surprisingly difficult (searches
hit articles about confidence intervals, not those that happen to report them).

I'd greatly appreciate any leads on example that have r and confidence
intervals reported. Or even any suggestions for how to search for that sort of
thing? (Or much more broadly, any thoughts on teaching CIs and going beyond
NHST?)

Thanks,

-Lenore
