Hi, Gary. Psychology as a discipline includes some things that I would not call science. Thaler trained as an economist, but he is an experimentalist. He conducts true experiments using questionnaires and other methods. He also does quasiexperimental work. So I would consider him a behavioral scientist. He describes himself as falling between psychology and economics.
