Hi,

It's OK. I thought there was a very small chance the appeal would work, but
given that I feel the reasoning for the draft is circular, I did it.

It sounds like I will not be the only one doing that. I agree with DJB's
technical points (no comment on the NSA or IETF procedure stuff).
Specifically from his note:

So, he has done the work on those points, and I agree with those parts of
his note. The various LCs should be interesting.
