Responsibilities:
The Consultant will assist Ministry of Environment (KLH) and UNDP in
implementation of the Refrigeration (Mfg) Sector Phase-out Plan in
a) To interact with the recipient enterprises, identified for participating in the Refrigeration (Manufacturing) Sector Plan and to brief these enterprises on the type and specifications of the foaming and/or refrigerant equipment, that they would be eligible to receive under the project. In the event, any enterprise has operations requiring any special type of equipment, this would be immediately brought to the attention of UNDP and KLH, for appropriately resolving the technical issues involved.
b) To obtain written concurrence of the recipient enterprises to the type and specifications of the foaming and/or refrigerant equipment.
c) To assist KLH in obtaining the required confirmations/participation agreement and/or any other required documentation from prospective recipient enterprises, in the required formats.
Qualifications:
a)
A bachelor’s degree in
physical sciences or equivalent.
b)
Minimum ten years experience
in the industry preferably in the Foam and/or Refrigeration (Mfg)
Sectors
c)
Thorough knowledge of the
Foam and/or Refrigeration (Mfg) Sectors in
d)
Significant experience in
technology transfer focused on ODS substitution as well as in application and
use of non-ODS substitutes including associated technical issues in context of
the Montreal Protocol
e)
Experience in working in
close cooperation with UN organizations and Government of
Indonesia
f)
Ability to travel extensively
and at short notice
g)
Ability for written and
spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
