That's weird, but probably not related to the BOUNCE_ENV_SENDER configuration that I believe you're asking about. The Reply-To address is created based on the recipient address of the original email. I've never had problems with it. By that I mean that I never see the double bounces when the TMDA confirmation request messages bounce. If you could provide a little more information about the problem and how the postmaster address is configured on your system, we'll try to help.
