I have this line in my .tmdarc file.
CONFIRM_APPEND = "/home/test/.tmda/whitelist"
If this file doesn't exist, you get an error in your log. Also,
/home/test/.tmda/filters/incoming is defined somewhere that I haven't found,
yet. But, of course, you have to create /home/test/.tmda/filters/ and the
incoming file or you will get errors.
