Hi,

I have a user who'd like to stop using TMDA for a while -- I thought
it would be a simple matter of removing the line that invokes
tmda-filter from the user's .qmail file:

  |preline /usr/bin/tmda-filter

Then I realized that there are likely to be a bunch of messages in the
pending queue that the user may never see -- there's a cron job that
deletes old messages after a while:

  0 1 * * * /usr/bin/tmda-pending -qbdO 1w

Is there a recommended step-by-step process (or a pointer to a
description of one) to disable TMDA for a user taking into account
messages that might be in the pending queue [1]? For reference, the
user doesn't have any keyword, sender, or dated addresses, so at least
that part of the picture is simple (-;

FWIW, I did have a look at the FAQ index and tried searching in the
archives but didn't manage to locate anything.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. The TMDA installation in question is a Debian package at version
     0.62.

[1] There are over 500 messages in the pending queue, so I'd prefer
not to have to go through it (or have the user do it) by hand.
