This article is blocked until I sign up for an account so the NYT can
sell me out to their marketing customers leading to something
unsolicited in one form or another.

Is is possible for you to cut and paste the text from this article, or
would that be a copyright violation?

I think it's pretty f'in far past a ``serious problem'' at this
point. What I don't understand is why no one is taking the initiative
to try and cure the disease (with a re-design of the SMTP) instead of
focusing on all these software band-aids.
