If the local machine handles mail for gsscorp, and $DEFAULT resolves to your user-name, then qmail is perfectly correct -- the mail is looping. You check the message, and once TMDA releases it, you forward it to yourself. qmail sees that it's the same message, and alerts you to a loop.Hi, i am running tmda-0.76 with QMAIL on a mail relay configuration. This is how my ~tmda/.qmail file looks like
|preline -f /usr/local/tmda-0.76/bin/tmda-filter |forward "$DEFAULT"@gsscorp.com
sender and also in the log i see this message
"This message is looping: it already has my Delivered-To line. (#5.4.6)"
When i change gsscorp to some other valid domain, mail goes thru fine.
Please help...
What you'll need to do is do something /other/ than forwarding to the same address. Common options are either a local delivery location (Maildir or mbox), or forwarding to a second address which handles "cleaned" mail -- yourname-tmda, for example.
