Hi All,
I have been trying unsucessfully to get TMDA to run on the following configuration:
Red Hat 7.3 TMDA 0.86 (installed via rpmbuild -tb) Python 2.3.2 (installed via tarball) Plesk 5.0.5 control panel (qmail 1.0.3 w/ Plesk's proprietary vPopMail to allow virtual users)
-boom-
I have narrowed it down to this error from /var/log/maillog:
Oct 14 16:26:25 www qmail: 1066173985.673393 delivery 13: deferral: Unable_to_chdir_to_maildir._(#4.2.1)/
I have confirmed that qmail can deliver to non-TMDA configured virtual users but not to TMDA configured virtual users. So it seems that the problem lies in how I've configured tmda-filter. The odd thing is that the next line in the .qmail file is a forward:
| preline /usr/bin/tmda-filter &[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I have re-reviewed the instructions for virtual users at http://tmda.net/tmda-vdomains.html and realize that I do not have the vuserinfo binary that is required by vpopmail-vdir.sh. I do not think that vPopMail and Plesk can co-exist on the same box based upon posts in the Plesk forums and the fact that Plesk uses its own proprietary version of vPopMail (one GUID, Maildirs, assigns). Is there another way to get virtual users to work without vuserinfo?
Will tmda-ofmipd work with just the path to qmail's virtualdomains file?
Again, thanks for any assistance you provide.

I have sucessfully installed tmda, tmda-cgi as well as ofmipd under plesk 6. But it should be same as psa 5. It requires some code manipulations to get tmda working with psa. My code changes are not too elegant but is working fine. If you haven't got it working yet, do let me know and I'll send you my changed versions of tmda and tmda-cgi with instructions. If you can improve the code do send me a copy :)
