I have looked and found some information on this, however I have yet to
come up with a solution. I have searched the previous archives and have not
found anything substantial but I could have missed something.
Here is what I have right now.
I have 2 mail servers, one is qmail (spam) and one is Lotus Domino.(domino)
ALL the mail from the internet is routed through the "spam" computer where
spamassassin currently resides. ALL the mail (including tagged spammed
messages) goes to "domino" where it is then routed to their mailbox. There
are no local mail users on the "spam" computer.
Here is what I want to do.
I want to have Qmail with TMDA(challenge response system) installed only
(no spamassassin or anything else). I know how to setup TMDA and I can set
up TMDA with ALL mail going to the "domino" server.
However, I want to change that and allow power users to customize their
personal TMDA config (create tagged addresses). The problem lies in the
fact that I want to be able to allow anyone to login (via ldap).
If they log in to the server (and thus have a home directory with
Maildir), the message needs to be delivered locally, then forwarded to the
domino server. This will allow the tmda filter to run.
If they DO NOT have an account on the server (and no home directory),
the message needs to be delivered directly to the domino server and
tmda-filter run on a universal account.
Here is where I'm stuck.
Assume all my control files include mytmda.com (for example)
I added |forward [EMAIL PROTECTED] TO alias/.qmail-default
I know the actual foward part works except that it gets bounced back
to the sender.
The Lotus Domino server will only accept mail addressed to @mytmda.com It
will NOT accept mail to @domino.mytmda.com,etc. This means I can't do
|forward [EMAIL PROTECTED]
A solution I was kind of looking at (but can't find proper documentation or
its impossible)
I would like to specify a ip address of the server to use.
In theory, something like |forward [EMAIL PROTECTED] VIA 192.168.1.10
Thanks
