This varies by MTA and configuration within each MTA. I can't answer from the information you've given (none). I can tell you that TMDA constructs the confirmation Reply-To from the RECIPIENT environment variable, which is set by your MTA. If it is being set incorrectly, you'll probably need to fix this by correcting your MTA. If that doesn't make any sense to you, tell us about your MTA, how "virtual" users/domains are configured and so forth.
