Wow, what a weird problem. It almost looks like my upstream provider (Sasktel) to where I forward all my TMDA-filtered email, didn't like you having a '+' in your email address. Maybe. I'm certainly no Qmail expert.
I solved it, and it wasn't their fault, it was mine :)
For those interested, it was a bad qmail-outgoing-authentication patch I found a while ago, which for some odd reason got confused by emails with '+' in them. I found a much better patch at http://www.ingorohloff.de/soft/qmail.html which works perfectly with all email addresses (so far), and has a much more intuitive setup than the old patch anyway.
