I like your idea...

Jason suggests filtering for bad senders BEFORE we accept.

I filter for bad domains, but bad reply addresses is something that isn't
rested for in courier - plus, after a quick survey of my more advanced
users, they wouldn't want that as a universal setting (they can decide which
accounts use TMDA, and don't run it on all accounts - some are worried that
various sms emails and other autogenerated messages MIGHT not have proper
reply addresses, and they wouldn't want to reject them all...

Your idea on the other hand seems to represent an improvement as it would
make it easier to identify the message in pending in case the bounce does
not contain the required info - could that happen?

Seems to make sense though.
