Hi folks. I've recently been seeing a marked increase in the number of spam messages that spammers are confirming. I haven't done any scientific investigation into the possibility that some of it is automated, but I've gone from one or two a month to several in the last few days alone.
It may be that my e-mail address has just made its way onto a list that's being used for the first time by some folks who are troubling themselves with such things (and I'm aware of the various techniques to make the challenge/response process more difficult for auto-replies), but I thought I'd put out a feeler and see if anyone else is experiencing the same in any noticeable way.
