I just did an apt-get upgrade of my debian server and quite a few things weren't working properly afterwards. One thing that had happened was exim was installed and changed our sendmail settings which was apparent when i went to manually whitelist some people from the cgi interface (i got an Errno 32 broken pipe). Once I fixed that I noticed that there is an abnormal amount of spam.
Normally this account gets 300 messages a day, I clocked 20 minutes worth today and got 30 in 20 minutes if this were to stay constant that would be 3600 mails a day.
Im not sure whats to blame, however the non-tmda accounts have no problems with multiple emails.
