OK this is an odd one, and one that TMDA wouldn't have caught, but only
because the sender was apparently on my whitelist.
I have this account on Yahoo, but then I also have an account on
another domain. Somehow, someone figured out that both accounts were
mine, and sent a message (containing a virus or trojan) to my other
account, forging the mail to make it look like it was coming from this
yahoo account.
Obviously TMDA couldn't be used to block it because this e-mail address
is on my whitelist. But I'm kind of baffled about how someone else
could have figured out the connection between the two accounts. Has
anyone else run into anything like this?
