I am new to TMDA and would like to add TMDA (I understand the concept) to a setup of Mac OS X Server which uses Postfix, Cyrus. The mailboxes are accessed by Mac users running Mail.app, via Squirrelmail and by Netscape/Mozilla users on Windows (these users do not have logins they can login to, only secure IMAP/SMTP access. I do not want to use procmail.

Is this doable?

Hi. Sorry for the delayed response.

I've personally never used MacOS X, but I imagine TMDA will run fine there, since it's a Unix-style OS, and pretty much all TMDA requires is Python and either an SMTP server or sendmail-style executable for sending out email.

Postfix is fine too - many people here run that.

I'm not sure about Cyrus - is that just your IMAP server? If so, that shouldn't be relevant to TMDA.

I assume you're running Maildir-style delivery for your users - that also should work fine. Are your users system users or virtual users? System users should work just fine, but virtual users may take a little setup work depending on which virtual user system you use.
