Good point. But I still see some value in TMDA supporting SPF a bit. For instance, it would be nice to have an option to simply trust emails that meet an SPF record's requirements.. ignoring the "~all" flag, of course.
I'm interested in hearing what others have done to counteract SpamCop's blacklists.. it seems they have set up "traps" to blacklist all challenge response systems. ;( -----Original Message----- From: Stephen Warren [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, September 19, 2006 4:15 PM To: tmda-users@tmda.net Cc: Josh Hildebrand Subject: Re: TMDA 1.0.x end of life Josh Hildebrand wrote: > Has there been any talk of making the challenges a little friendlier by > giving us the option of adhering to SPF records? This is probably a job for the MTA itself - during initial inbound mail acceptance, the SPF record should be checked, and the mail rejected/dropped right then. _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list (tmda-users@tmda.net) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
