OK. I'll try to be more clear: Yes, they do.

Redundant? Probably.

Man pages make it easy to find information about a program without
knowing exactly where the program lives on your system. And it's
quicker than changing to the TMDA directory and typing ./whatever --help

The formating adds readability too. The whole page comes up in a
pager, rather than having to ./whatever --help | less or similar.

And, as I noted before, it's tradition. First timers are probably
going to automatically type 'man tmda-pending' rather than 'tmda-
pending --help'. In that respect it's more intuitive.

Of coarse, I say all of this without wanting to be the person who
maintains them. But I do think that if someone has the time to
maintain them, they'll add value to the project.
