thanks for the feedback. We have always wanted to make all videos available on our web site. Previously the only way I could convert the vhs tapes to the computer was to play each tape and capture the video on my computer. It was very time consuming and I couldn't do anything else while it was recording and then converting to Realvideo streaming format. I kept falling asleep in front of my computer while waiting.

Now I am able to copy the vhs tapes to dvd on a stand-alone recorder, copy the dvd to my 2nd computer and let the conversion program do it's thing. When that is done, edit the video files to separate the presentations then upload the video files.

In case you did know, all the videos are already available on the web site at http://www.myelitis.org/events.htm

These require realplayer and the videos are smaller to save space. They work fine for me, but I know a lot of people can't get them to play. I'll eventually convert everything to this format and hope that google continue their video service at no cost.

I've started working on converting the video tapes from the TM symposiums to DVD and streaming video not using Realplayer.

Give them a try and let me know how well they are working before I take the time to do the rest.
