Hi Ella. yes I did have something similar and they gave me powder, a prescription powder. If it doesn't itch and no bumps, you could try gold bond powder, or one of the other medicated powders, I bet cornstarch would work.
This I learned, too - you have to smooth it on, don't leave any extra. I used to just shake the powder on, I didn't know to smooth it.
