Frank and all
It's been 3 years now from onset (5/32/03) and I have not had any new
"events" so the tm diagnosis still stands. My face involvement began in the
hospital within the first week of onset. The right side of my face, nose,
lips and mouth were numb and tingling. When I sucked in with my lips my
mouth felt like I had just brushed with a super minty toothpaste even if I
hadn't brushed. It stayed like that for months. Now my face is my indicator
that I have over extended myself and need to rest.

I know it is weird, but my neuro says it is another unexplained symptom of
tm. He is a good friend of one of the doctors at the tm center at JH and an
excellent neuro, so I trust him. He follows the same protocol as the center
and tries the same drug therapies.

But, then again, I have always been a WEIRD one. So...
Debbie staying weird in
SC

I have the eye muscles twitches, too.
