Hello everybody, I would like to take time to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving, and don't eat so much you can't participate in Black Friday. That's the day after Thanksgiving when all of the store owners celebrate Thanksgiving.
Also I wanted to offer a suggestion to those of you who are making pies and want to watch the calories, and have trouble making pie crust. A couple of years ago Dorothy was making pir crust and just could not make it come out right. So I suggested that she spray Pam in the pie pan, and pour the pumpkin mixture into the pan. She did, we baked it, and it came out great. we even served it like it was a pie, except no crust. Pumpkin pie filling is made like a custard, so it does work very well like that. You could also use a Pyrex rectangular pan and serve squares, with a dab of whipped cream, or blow the calories and cover the whole pan with whipped cream and have a nice piece of pie with frosting.
