some people have no ISP but AOL. thats just life. however,,,AOL is bad
for problems of this nature so i wouldnt go overboard on making remarks
aboout expelling anyone from anything,,the best recourse you can have if
you dont want to read anything from me is to click on that little tiny
button with DEL on it.
people kill me,,,,glad I aint one!
* Every computer has an ISP. The Internet service provider (ISP) is a
company that provides access to the Internet. All computers must have an
ISP number, otherwise it would not be able to get on the Internet to
send emails or whatever.
**Bee clark has been on the list and been in my address book for quite a
while. It sounds like someone hacked into her computer and is using
hers so they don't get caught. It could happen to any one of us, they
just slip in a hidden Trojan and voila, they send the message from her
computer. Hackers are and incorridgeable breed of %&^$#^!!!!
Bee, you need to find a program that looks for these types of
things. I have been using AVG for a while now and have no more problems
with anyone trying to tamper with my computer. AVG recognizes it
automatically and locks it in a vault where it cannot get into your
drive. You can set it to automatically scan daily if need be, but once
a week works for me. Also, what carrier do you use for your email?
Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or others? Mozilla Firefox is what
I use and has made a big difference in spam, cookies, hackers, just
about anything one can think of for the time. Hope this helps some; and
most of the credit for this info goes to my daughter and her boyfriend
Mike who knows all about tis stuff. It is what he does for a living.
And here is the site to AVG, it also has a free version at this site:
http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free and is the one I
use. Good Luck!
Peace,
Bernie in Texas
PS - Hackers are always trying to find new ways to beat the new systems,
so try to keep a watch out for that; but between AVG and Firefox I think
you'll be all right!
