I too was assessed as deficient in B-12 and Vitamin D
I take B-12 and D daily
as well as Iron
and Calcium
I'm trying out astralagus (sp?)
I recommend a blood and hormone profile -- another way you can self
assess and self treat -- you need to know all you can about your
condition and annual blood profiles is a great way to do it.
Then you can see what you lack or don't lack. As a lactose-intolerant
nonmeat eater, my cholestrol
levels are pristine, but I am challenged by anemia.
Other tests I never thought of but my new wise physiatrist did was a
bone density scan, pulmonary
test and CT scan.
I used flower remedies after the nursing home to assist with the PTSD
inflicted by my stay there
and the grief about my paralysis and condition. And they helped -- I
didn't kill myself.
