GW, you'd be surprised at how many folks would believe that!

I've got about a three inch scar on my right shoulder. Usually when people
first see it, they ask how I got it. I usually reply, "I got it in a knife
fight". Most people say "yeah, whatever, now what really happened?" The
gullible few, however, get really big eyes and want to hear more...

sometimes, if it's someone that I want to frighten a little bit, I wind up
saying that the guy who knifed me and I are cool now, and that I go put
flowers on his grave once a year O:-) Most people usually start getting
skeptical about then, but there are a few who've believed me all the way.

The reason it's particularly funny is that I stand a whopping 5 feet 7
inches (170 cm) tall, am a peacemaker, and have about the finely honed
reflexes of a sloth, so picturing me getting in any sort of fight is kind
of like a picturing a purple duck in a tuxedo playing the tuba.

Anyways...
The moral of the story is that scars are not fun, but scar stories are. ;)
