intended those bits of silliness to *go* to TMNT-L. I'm always careful about 
that because I know there are people here who are offended by certain 
topics, and I want to honor that. I mean, come on, you guys know me! I'm the 
freakin' QUEEN of Politically Correct!

     ~And now that my poor 'lil chapter has been connected with all this  
brouhaha, I feel moved to clarify something before the whole thing is 
hopelessly maligned through association with these tangential topics.
     The *ONLY* reason this event took place in the story was as a 
characterization device. The point was to illustrate the tenderness and 
naivitee underlying the tough skin of that homicidal maniac that we all know 
and love. 'Kay?
