The reasons why I doubt that TMNT 2 and 3 will be special editions (i.e.
with lots of extra features):

- The price for both is about $15; a special edition DVD generally
retails for at least $20.

- TMNT 1's DVD release wasn't anywhere close to being a special edition,
and that first movie is the one they most likely would have given the
special edition treatment to.

- Other than many diehard TMNT fans, the second and third movies weren't
huge hits or even cult classics that would generally warrant a special
edition release.

I can envision the studios eventually re-releasing TMNT 1 as a special
edition (and possibly doing the same for the second and third movies at
that time and making them a boxed set), but these particular releases
scheduled for September will likely be barebones, or at least with
minimal special features. I hope I'm wrong, though.

About it being bear bone just a CD, I kind of dout that. I feel as if
the only reason they don't list other features on it, is because they
don't know the features yet. Notice they dont' even have how long the
DVD is going to be on there. So the details will be filled in upon
their
release. ([;{-) They also have a comment area on the page so that
people can leave reviews on TMNT 1, if you check under the TMNT 1 DVD
area. I sent in a comment today, giving it a good review. Figured it'd
a good way to show support for it, so when people search it up they see
more than 5 people have good stuff to say about it. ([:{-D
