do you want to know what graphics program i'm using??? huh, do
ya?? >:) it's 10 years old, it doesn't even have layers, not
to mention special effects like shadows. and i use windows paint. i've
got newer programs too, but these two basic old programs are all i
need, all i use and all i want. layers n stuff are just beyond me. i
think that shows that i'm quite unflexible. :(
YOU use Windows Paint?! All your
gorgeous artwork came from that.....that simple, basic, flat,
original-came-with-your-computer-program?! OMG!!! I used to
use that for when I drew my artwork with the mouse! Wow, you go
beyond that plain white sheet of paper and really get into it! Oh,
wait, I was using Paint back when I didn't have a scanner so I had to
draw with only the mouse and nothing else! It's amazing what you
can get out of a 3.1 program!
~But your artwork comes out *so*
beautifully! See, its not the tool, but the hand that wields it,
right?
I've yet to even try and figure out my layer
functions in Corel. Maybe if I took a *class* in some of this stuff I'd
have some idea how it works... The community college here in Grass
Valley actually is developing a really nice computer graphics program--
lotsa classes.
Like I've got time

And GW?! YOU use Corel?!!! I
thought I was the only one on Planet EARTH to use such a program because
everyone says how terrible it is! But it's not! I've
mastered it pretty well, heh, even though I took one class and failed it
by not showing up for finals. I was scared, what can I say?
Everyone was more advanced and I was a beginner. I went home with
the program still in the computer and practiced with the guide book,
eventually getting it. Masking, over-layering, shading,
contrasting, sharpening, softening, cloning, and the list goes on of all
the neat stuff you could do with a drawing....or a photo.
Hehehehe. Whatever it is you need help with, like heh, maniping, I
can show you some pointers if you'd like. So far, my day is
starting off very, very, slooooow...
