I was SURE I'd seen the cartoon before, but the screen was black/white and the dialogue was dubbed over in Spanish (It takes place in Spain afterall). Anyway, I looked it up on IMDB. They cite "Denver, The Last Dinosaur" as a feature in the movie, so I looked that up...
Lo and behold! It was a short-lived cartoon series (I think I'd only seen ads for it in TMNT Magazine or something). But the voice talents listed in the cast include:
Pat Fraley .... Denver the Last Dinosaur
Jack Angel .... Professor Chin
Adam Carl .... Jeremy/Wally
Cam Clarke .... Mario/Shades
Townsend Coleman .... Additional Voices
Tress MacNeille
Rob Paulsen .... Chet/Motley
Frank Welker .... Additional Voices
All of which were in something to do with TMNT!! There are a couple of VAs in here that I left out but are also major voice talents... like Kath Soucie from Rugrats, etc. Hehehe... Purdy weird huh... It's like you can find a tmnt reference in anything!
Pretty freaky to say the least. I actually recall Denver sounding alot like Bogus (another character voiced by Cam Clarke) Speaking of which, I was channel surfing the other night and I happened upon The Little Mermaid 2 which was being aired on Disney. I remember that the group had mentioned it before that Cam Clarke played the voice of Flounder, and someone had even mentioned that he sounds like Leonardo with a cold. Sure enough, that's what came to mind while I was watching!
