~"Everyone's a
critic..."
Well, the truth is we had a mad scramble to get the
voting page up in a timely manner at all due to the health of both our
esteemed WebMaster and myself, whom, without our esteemed WebMaster, would
by now be lying in small puddle in wimpering despair....
All suggestions are
being taken into advisory. By the year 2010 we're gonna have this refined
and perfected, don't worry.
As far
as the nominations time-frame goes-- we had three weeks. I just figured
there wasn't that much interest in those categories this year. Hard to
believe that about the Graphic Stories, but that's the way it came down
the tube, so to speak.....

Wow, we're starting already... oohhhh I have SOOOOO much
compition in the best death scene catagory, I'm gunna be up all nite
worrying about if I'm gunna win *wink* hee hee... you guys should
extend nominations, because there are no stories in some catagories...
I must also whine at Cydon about the color scheme.. AAAAAAHHHHH!! MY
EYES!!!!!! I CAN'T SEE!! I'M BLIIIINNNNDDDD!!! ... umm... nm, it's
just the font color... *grumbles* Isn't there any way you can make
radio buttons beside each fic choice like the art awards did? It would
make it nicer. Thank you SO much for actually linking the fics instead
of just putting the URL, like some people I know (daaawn! ;) But
one thing that was nice that dawn did that was nice was that to put up
the nominations during the nomination period, so we can see what fics
are already nominated, what cats need more fic choices,
etc....
~Mica (just some helpful {I hope} suggestions from the
girl who didn't even know nominations were ending, and would have
nominated more if she'd have realized.. d'oh!)

now of course, no voting for your own stories. > Voting ends October
