Adam and I went to the house of a guy he knew in high school and hasn't seen
in eight years. His old friend Jamie was there, who we do still keep in
touch with. Jamie and his fiance, Cara, got pregnant, then married, and
little Ian Storm Robinson is six months old now (awww). Anyway, Jamie and I
were sitting on the couch, Ian in my lap, Cara at our feet. Cara took Ian
and was doing Mommy-baby playful things, and in between burblings she
mentioned TMNT, something about Ian having a TMNT shirt or something. So I
leaned over and said, "You know, they're coming back. They've got a new
cartoon coming out in Februrary." Cara turns her head and stares up at me
with a huge eyes and a huge mouth, gasping "No way! How does it look so
far?" So I told her that April has purple hair and looks like a teenager,
and she laughed at that, and we got to reminiscing about the old show and
stuff. It was pretty cool. Baby Ian will grow up knowing what TMNT is and
stuff.
